Designed by Pierre Guariche in 1963 during his collaboration on the creation of the La Plagne ski resort in the French alps, the Vallée Blanche chaise longue, named after the breathtaking glacial valley nestled in the heart of the Mont Blanc massif, remains one of his most iconic works. Produced by Les Huchers-Minvielle and awarded the same year at the prestigious Salon des Arts Ménagers, this piece has cemented its place in design history. Now part of the permanent collection at the Centre Pompidou, this re-edition by Ligne Roset faithfully preserves the integrity of the original design.

Structure:
The base is crafted from two cut and folded sheets of brilliant-chromed metal, designed in a distinctive spider shape for stability and style. The frame is constructed from strapped, mechanically-welded steel, ensuring strong foundation. Visible chromed screws securely fix the seat to the base, adding a subtle industrial touch to the design.

Filling:
Vallée Blanche is hermetically filled with the curated blend of Bultex® foam in density of 50 kg/m³ and firmness level of 7.1 kPa, carefully designed to gently adapt to your body while remaining resistant to breakdown for a lifetime.

Bultex® is an eco-certified, elastic polyurethane foam that aligns with Ligne Roset's loyalty to the modern art of comfort. Its trailblazing cellular design gifts Togo a delicate balance of lightness and high resilience, while also providing unrestrained airflow through the material which:
